This movie tells about adult human’s life that divided
into 5 factions according to their types of personalities. Those factions are
Candor (honest), Erudite (genius), Amity (peace), Dauntless (brave), Abnegation
(kind and helpful). “Divergent” is for those whose not a part of one of five
factions. A girl named Tris, felt something wrong when she did her test to know
her faction. Eventually, she doesn’t match into one faction. So, a woman that
tested her, told that she has to keep that secret because divergent is
dangerous for other factions. Finally, Tris decided to be a Dauntless. Something
surprised her when she knows that her mentor in Dauntless, Four, is a Dauntless
too. Then, the Dauntless who have been controlled by the Erudite, attack the
Abnegation. Tris, Four, Caleb (Tris’ brother), Marcus (Four’s dad), take the fight
to destroy the control center that controlled some of the Dauntless. After successfully
canceled and deleted the killing program, the Dauntless finally sober. Tris,
Four, Caleb, Marcus and Peter (one of Dauntless’ member) fled by the train and
become a non-faction.

For me, this
movie is good although it is adopted from novel.
